Come Let us Adore Him

One of the more beautiful ways the Church offers to give homage to  the King of Glory is through Eucharistic Adoration (Holy Hour).

Advent, which is just a few weeks away, is a time of preparation.  Preparation of our hearts and minds to both celebrate the Lord’s historical coming, his Incarnation, and for his final coming (either at the end of times or at the end of our lives).  It is a great time, to take some time, to come and adore the Lord.

Considering this, we are planning to offer additional times for Eucharistic Adoration during Advent.    Beginning Saturday 11/29 at St. Philomena and then continuing each Saturday during Advent with St. Louis on 12/6, St. Ann on 12/13, and Holy Trinity on 12/20.

The Holy Hour with the Lord on these dates will be from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM and will consist of:

Opening- Presentation of Our Lord in the Monstrance

Scripture Readings

Time for reflection of readings

Benediction- The Lord gives His blessing to all in attendance

We are requesting a minimum of 20 parishioners to commit to attend each of the scheduled Saturdays. We hope to see a cross section of representation from each church in the family.

We invite all parishioners to attend at least one of the Saturdays.

If you are willing to participate in this special time of preparation during Advent, we request that you let us know by completing the sign-up sheet located at the entrance of the Church or calling the parish office, at 513-732-2218, or emailing sscott@cincinnatise5.org.

The Lord is willing to make Himself available to meet with us in a special way this Advent.  May we as a Family of Parishes take the time to, “Come and Adore Him.”
